Your Starting Point
Entrepreneurs from across the country and globe complete the EO member application every day. Because each chapter has a limited amount of spaces, we’ve established member requirements and a thorough application process to attract quality candidates who will benefit from our programs.
Do You Qualify?
Every EO chapter maintains the following member requirements:
EO Application Process
1. Submit Interest Form
Fill out the short online form about yourself and your business to find out if you qualify for EO membership.
2. Connect with
Local Chapter
A local chapter representative will reach out to discuss your qualifications and interests.
3. Complete Full Application
Our full application takes about 15-20 minutes to complete. Your application will be reviewed by your local chapter.
4. Member Interview
Your local chapter will reach out and schedule an interview to further explore your interest in EO and answer any questions.
5. Welcome to EO
Once your application is accepted, you’ll participate in EO orientation and learn about your Forum, resources and more.

When you apply for EO, you may want to consider which member track – The Builder or The Connector – best suits your goals. While some members desire close relationships within their Forum or local chapter, others want education and expertise focused on leveling up business growth.

EO Member Costs & Expectations
Our membership costs comprise both global and chapter dues, which include a one-time $3,500 initiation fee and annual chapter dues. Dues vary by chapter and are prorated based on the fiscal month you join.
OTHER MEMBER EXPECTATIONS INCLUDE:
- Respect the confidentiality of all EO members and businesses at all times
- Exercise and enforce the non-solicitation policy
- Promote a safe and relaxing environment
- Conduct personal and professional affairs within the law
- Communicate with staff and leadership in a timely and truthful fashion
- Maintain exemplary standards of professional conduct in one’s business
- Embrace high ethical standards during peer-to-peer engagement
- Understand that abuse, discrimination and harassment (including sexual harassment) will not be tolerated
- Fulfill all obligations to EO as expected
